A bookshop, a bicycle and a few pots of flowers turn an ordinary street into a place you would like to linger. Fine black lines describe the tall roof and surrounding buildings, while muted green shutters and the dark shopfront give the Zurich illustration a gentle touch of colour. Rows of books add little discoveries within the spare drawing.
For a reader or someone who loves wandering city streets, this print makes a welcoming companion beside a bookshelf. Its light background keeps it easy to place among photographs and other drawings, while the small shop details reward a closer look. A reading nook or hallway is a lovely setting for this quiet celebration of neighbourhood character.
