A little matchbox opens into a whole tropical garden in this colourful still-life print. Broad green leaves overlap yellow and pink flowers across the patterned cover, with a row of pale matches adding a surprisingly orderly finishing touch. The cream ground lets the tiny botanical world feel bright and distinct.
This is a playful choice for a kitchen, dining nook or a wall of collected curiosities. It brings the warmth of botanical art in an unexpected form, and pairs especially well with other matchbox images, green ceramics or simple natural wood furniture.
